Welcome to
Thank you for visiting. My vision is to build resiliency within a fragmented and broken community of military, first responder, and athlete families. The families that protect our front lines in our backyards and abroad have been neglected, so it's time to upgrade the community with the best tech, AI, education, and advocacy to ensure our communities and nation remain free and prosperous.
Founder Bio
Sir Jamieson Slough has over 25 years of global experience as a successful military leader (Rank of Major in the USMC), serial entrepreneur and business leader. Jamieson is among the new breed of emerging social entrepreneurs who are using approaches from the commercial world and employing technology to tackle social problems. Today he is leveraging his vast global experience and technology domain expertise to bring to the U.S. military community (active, guard, veterans) transformative health and wealth solutions.
Jamieson Slough has been involved in almost every facet of startups, and has dedicated his time to building a proprietary blockchain enabled economy for U.S. military members and their families. Fueling this economy are some of the largest multi-district litigations in our country’s history and recent bills (PACT ACT) affecting millions of military service members. His efforts are focused on building billion dollar companies on the blockchain, backed by ‘smart’ contracts tied to veteran health and wealth.
During and after his military service, Jamieson’s entrepreneurial spirit enabled him to rally teams to support a variety of real estate, tech, and finance projects. Since 2002, he has consulted hundreds of startup companies and helped entrepreneurs and their teams through transaction sizes ranging from tens of thousands to hundreds of millions.
Jamieson currently serves as founder and CEO of nssX Holdings Inc., a FL based holding company with a portfolio of companies built around VETNET.io, a military, first responder and athlete market place driven by AI and blockchain based economy. Specifically blockchain based projects, AI claim management, medical devices, alternative plant based medicines, and AI IP application development supporting the legal, wellness, AI technology, education, environment, and defense industries and 60 million U.S. military members and their families. He started by delivering solutions that enable law firms fast track the claims process for military service and first responder members in order to gain better access to VA benefits and settlements. Basically, he wants our veterans paid and paid fast. He recognized the struggle many military members face while acclimating back to civilian life and the need to effectively transition military members with the maximum benefits available. He has founded a non-profit called WarriorUP Foundation, which has focused on promoting veteran, first responder, and athlete health through 'mental fitness' rprotocols in order to provide alternative and integrative medicine for patients facing depression, anxiety, PTSD, TBIs, and other neurological conditions.
Notably, Jamieson was knighted in 2011 for his efforts leading international teams in response to major natural disasters across the globe. His work after the Haitian earthquake (2010-2012) led to thousands of saved lives while working closely to deploy renewable energy water systems to 75+ locations. Highlights included ten United Nations projects, multiple USAID and NGO projects serving local entrepreneurs and teams. He continues his service to his community by participating in veteran homeless shelters, leading non-profit sports groups, and providing outlets to disabled veterans for their mental health.
Prior to his civilian life, Jamieson served 11 years in the United States Marine Corps primarily as a F/A-18 Hornet Air Combat Tactics Instructor, and secondarily in flight operations and logistical roles with four Marine Air Group Squadrons before and during Operation Enduring Freedom. He was honorably discharged as rank of Major in 2005 with over 1,600 total hours of fight time and multiple awards and recognition for his service. During his service he was a two-time All-Marine Golf Champion and was parto f the U.S. Team that won the All-Military Team World Championships.
Jamieson is a graduate of the U.S. Naval Academy as one of the most decorated athletes in school history, a dual-sport (lacrosse & squash) 7 time All-American and Hall of Fame Inductee. He also is one of the most decorated athletes at The Hill School, one of the oldest standing prep schools in our nation, as a three sport star and two-time Hall of Fame Inductee.
He enjoys golfing, surfing, playing tennis and pickle-ball, snowboarding, and wake surfing in his spare time. He has been married to his flight school sweetheart for 25 years, is a father of three, and grandfather.
